Vs. The Earth

Vs. the earth is a rock act from the mid-atlantic region that has a unique sound. They combine guitar-driven rhythm, real lyrical content, and infectious hook and melody to make a musical style unequaled in the region. Their exciting stage presence and high energy live set make them an act not to be missed. Though the music is most important, Vs. the earth incorporates a sound, energy, and look that makes them a total entertainment package. VTE is a four-piece band with an extensive list of quality originals, and an inexhaustible amount of covers, which allows them to cater to many... many requests. vs. the earth has been exciting the "regional music scene" for five years and plays over 300 shows per year (an unbelievable, yet very real schedule.) Their regional popularity spans from Florida to New York City, with their success leading to the occasional West coast trip as well. Vs. the earth has played with national acts such as GIN BLOSSOMS, QUIET RIOT, FUEL, EVE 6, EVERCLEAR, SR-71, JIMMYS CHICKEN SHACK, SISTER HAZEL, NINE DAYS, CAROLINE SPINE, CARBON LEAF, KIX, BREAKING BENJAMIN, and MICHELLE BRANCH, and KENNY CHESNEY (along with a few others.)

A few other accomplishments include wining the Budweiser National Sponsorship: Bud True Music Band, having the singles "Still Remember You," and "Carolina Sky" chosen as a finalist in VH1s Save the Music - Song of the Year contest, and being honored by various radio, and television programs along the east coast. (Including, but not restricted to 105.7 whfs, 98 rock..baltimores rock radio, fox 57 and it's news affiliates, to name a few.) The band has also had six of the top ten downloaded songs on musicgorilla.com, as well as remaining in the the " top 20 most listened, and downloaded songs" in the websites' history averaging 1,200 hits a day with over 20,000 downloaded VTE originals. The band also launched vstheearth.com in 2001, which receives an average of over 65,000 hits per year, and allows their ever increasing fan base to sign up for weekly newsletters that contain information about upcoming shows and events. ** The band also carries a "myspace" page established in 2006; which since the time of "conception" has gathered a fan base of over 7,000 "friends," which continues to grow every day and has landed the band in Myspace's top 100 unsigned artists for two different genres.. ** Along with the many "Vs. the earth" fan sites, the band has since made their way into the much respected "purevolume.com," website. VTE is endorsed by PRS guitars, Tasty Pain tattoos, Dirty T's clothing, and Sunchasers.

Whether they're playing a night club, concert, or college, Vs. the earth has the look, the talent, the production, the fan support, and most importantly the music to make any show successful. Their professionalism and commitment to their work can only be matched by few, and is one of the reasons for their continued success as they continue to evolve in the music industry.
